Dean Linnard is a bicoastal actor, teaching artist, sometime puppeteer, recovering clown, and all-around goof. Regional theater credits include Angels in America, Torch Song, Chicken & Biscuits, Indecent, M. Butterfly, The Play That Goes Wrong, and the original production of Dave Malloy’s musical Octet. Sergei Burbank is a screenwriter, playwright, performer, audiobook narrator, and producer in New York City. His works have been staged by the Scranton Shakespeare Festival, Quick Silver Theater Company, Oracle Theatre Inc., the BoCoCa Arts Festival, and the Planet Connections Festivity. His articles and short stories have appeared in Vernacular Journal, Indie Theater Now, NYTheaterNow, Parabasis, Howlround, fwriction:review, and Baseball Prospectus. He is resident playwright with Quick Silver Theater Company and member of Actors’ Equity Association. Kevin R. Free has been making theater in New York City for 30 years and narrating audiobooks for 25 years. He was the first black man to play Bellomy in The Fantasticks in the production’s 57-year run Off-Broadway. He won an Obie Award as the Producing Artistic Director of The Fire This Time Festival in 2015, for producing world premiere plays of playwrights of the African Diaspora. He was named a Golden Voice by AudioFile Magazine in 2023. In 2024, his play, Swimming Uphill, written for André De Shields and directed by Zhailon Levingston, received a New Works Lab fellowship at the Apollo. He is the former Artistic Director of Mile Square Theatre in Hoboken, NJ, where, in his 3-year tenure, he produced four world premiere plays, including Gabriel Diego Hernandez’s Quarter Rican. Maia Matsushita McBride (she/her) is a Brooklyn-based writer and educator. Proudly Black and multiracial, she has found a theatrical home with The Liberation Theatre Company's Writer Residency Program, and The Fire This Time Festival's Inaugural Writers Group and New Works Lab. She has presented work with the Classical Theatre of Harlem's Playwright Playground, C-MORE Festival at the cell, National Black Theatre's Keeping Soul Alive Reading Series, 48Hours in... Harlem, and VoxLab. She was a semifinalist for a Clubbed Thumb Writers of Color Commission and a recipient of an Emerging Writer Residency at the Wellstone Center in the Redwoods.
